album #8: American Idiot  0

Posted on September 30th, 2004, around evening. About General, Recommended Albums.

Well the album’s out now and I’ve finally got myself a copy (£8.99, Play.com incase you wanted to know ;) ) and well, everyone who’s heard it seems to have an opinion on it I think. Personally, I like it. The songs are different from the previous albums and also fairly different to each other. Best tracks of course include “American Idiot” but also I like “Wake Me Up When September Ends” too. They also have 2 ‘tracks’ which have 5 sub-tracks within them which is quite cool. But yeah, definitely recommend this one.

The gallery’s up and working properly again so I’ve uploaded all the new photos that were previously on Flickr and organised them all under 3 albums cos it was becoming too confusing (well for me anyway). So if you wanna have a look the link’s on the sidebar :)

NEW iPOD!  0

Posted on September 23rd, 2004, early in the evening. About General.

Woohoo! I’ve ordered myself a new iPod, a nice white one…”refurbished” but a great deal. 20 GB one for £170! Saving about £130! With like £9o’s worth of accessories with it too (dock, remote, case and clip). It’s not the new generation ones, the one before that with the 4 buttons under the screen. Been having a look on the Apple website and they have none left, just was well I was quick lol. Has been shipped out today, so I reckon about 10 days time I’ll have a nice “new” iPod to wave about to the world ;)

album #7: Start Something  1

Posted on September 17th, 2004, around evening. About General, Recommended Albums.

My seventh recommended album then is the most recent release by the LostProphets. I haven’t got all the songs off this album yet but I’ve got the majority of them. The one that everyone probably knows at the moment is “Last Summer” which I’m addicted to lol. But they’ve also had other hits from this album with “Last Train Home” and “Wake Up (Make A Move)”. I think though that “To Hell We Ride” is a great song. Anyway, if you haven’t heard it yet, I definitely recommend it - hence it being this week’s recommended album…duh?!

Well I’ve finally got my 2 films back from being developed (this is why I much prefer digital cameras), thanks to Kodac for losing one of them. Just got 1 film scanned and burnt to a CD (thanks Rachel ;) ) so far, but hopefully will have the 2nd soon…photos on this film are from Zoe’s 17th and Antigua (2nd film: more of Zoe’s and Painting Day) >> Photo Gallery
