Baby steps..
Made my first proper electronic circuit today (just incase you don’t know and actually care, I’m doing a BEng in Electronic Engineering). Ok, so it was in like “Electronic Applications” which is basically a class for people who have little or no experience with the stuff - like me. But it wasn’t bad, quite fun. Got to use a soldering iron which I haven’t done since like DT in Year 9.
The circuit was pretty simple really, 4 resistors (2 in parallel and 2 in series) and 2 bits of wire which had to be soldered on and then was tested and it managed to work. Apparantly we make an amplifier in a couple of weeks with a 1:10V ratio. Which apparantly means 1V in makes 10V come out or something. Then the final “project” is a battery charger so nothing big but if it helps me pass lol.
Here’s some photos of the masterpieces..

I’m impressed! Don’t get a big head over it though, because I probably wouldn’t have known to call that a circuit. Without the battery and the lightbulb of the 5th grade circuit days, I’m a little out of my element.
