Oh and look, Pompey moving into more and more danger by the game - a draw can’t save you now lol- 4 points lol.
Hmm…I think it’s typical that we can do alright in the FA Cup but not so good in the Premiership where it is slightly more important about now. Defence was shocking the other night however with some good attacking skills we made it through - not sure how. Crouch is beginning to be a good asset, my opinion has totally changed.
Bring on Man Utd…
Edit:
Heh, just found this interview with good old Sir Alex Ferguson from 2002. Here’s a snippet…

2atoms: Mr. Ferguson, welcome.
AF: Sir Alex.
2atoms: Sorry?
AF: Sir Alex. My name is Sir Alex.
2atoms: OK, sorry - Sir Alex.
AF: That’s better.
So I think we managed to prove most bookies wrong yesterday by getting a well deserved draw against high runners Arsenal. I don’t think many people thought that Saints would get anything but a lose. Ok fair enough, they didn’t have their best team possible but there were still a lot of amazing players out there.
The match itself was pretty intense. Lots of pushing and shoving - especially on Prutton’s behalf when he started trying to beat the ref up (resulting in Harry and Jim grabbing him and pulling him off the side). However Crouch’s goal was pretty sweet and he deserved it from the team I think.
Makes sense doesn’t it, we can draw to Arsenal but we can’t beat West Brom (just draw!)
I won’t say too much due to the fact that it was a very controversal match and I don’t want hate mail. But to be fair, Pompey did start off the better team and both the penalties shouldn’t have been given. To be honest, on looking at the replays a couple times it seemed like it hit Taylor’s shoulder, but the ref didn’t have that long. So therefore it comes down to the fact that Oakley had an amazing goal.
Well of all the teams to be picked against, it was of course, Pompey. I don’t think Harry was expecting to see the likes of Hislop, Taylor and co quite so soon. However, it’s just a normal game of football he says. Anyway, predictions anyone? Take into consideration lol the wonderful win that Saints had over Pompey in their run of crappyness. I reckon…2 - 1 to Saints.
Well he’s finally been sold - to 4th place Everton. Came down to there and Villa in the end. Will he be missed? I’m not sure considering the lack of goals being scored this season anyway. His mind wasn’t in it, he wanted to be elsewhere - and now he is. Good luck I guess. Especially with their 4-5-1 formation.

I’ve come to a conclusion that there’s no point posting Saints results because you can bet your mother’s filling that they will lose. I think we’ve had our worse defeat this season to date: 5 - 1! Must be an inside conspiracy from Portsmouth to get Saints to drop a league…
So the 2nd only manager to ‘manage’ Portsmouth and Southampton has arrived. Good old Harry Redknapp has come to Saints after his “break” from his reign over Pompey. Cunning or disloyal? So how many managers have Saints had in the past season now…? 4 I think.
We didn’t do too bad against Middlesbrough today - except for the old Saints traddition. Last minute goals. Enough for us to lose whatever rare win we have in the last few minutes. And also including an own goal. I suppose the brightside of this is that it was a different defender this time…
Edit
Looks like Pompey are as bad as Saints - reportidly trying to get Gordon Strachen to come to Portsmouth. Hmmm…
