Ok so I’ve finally got around to exporting my library with Doug’s Scripts but they’ve gone into a funny order for some reason. Anyway, click here if you wanna see them. Rough update every now and again.

Ok well personally I think having a coloured normal iPod is quite a cool idea - when the colours work. I think the U2 one is awful. The black and the red clash so bad (unless that’s meant to be the idea) then add on the white earphones - you’d look like a rainbow that’s had a visit from Death. The fact that it’s also a U2 edition, what is wrong with Apple. Why out of so many bands do U2 deserve their own iPod? How much did they pay Apple I wonder…
On the other hand the other new iPod with the photos looks pretty amazing, not sure about how much memory would be needed for your photos though. Anyway, I’ve just got this one so I’m all good.
The most well known album from then English band, A. Came out just over 2 years ago (iTunes - March 2002). Some of my favourite songs on there include “Starbucks”, “6 O’Clock On A Tube Stop” and “Going Down” but they’re all pretty cool. However, haven’t heard anything from then since - anyone know what happened? Need more great British bands out there!

Well the album’s out now and I’ve finally got myself a copy (£8.99, Play.com incase you wanted to know
) and well, everyone who’s heard it seems to have an opinion on it I think. Personally, I like it. The songs are different from the previous albums and also fairly different to each other. Best tracks of course include “American Idiot” but also I like “Wake Me Up When September Ends” too. They also have 2 ‘tracks’ which have 5 sub-tracks within them which is quite cool. But yeah, definitely recommend this one.

My seventh recommended album then is the most recent release by the LostProphets. I haven’t got all the songs off this album yet but I’ve got the majority of them. The one that everyone probably knows at the moment is “Last Summer” which I’m addicted to lol. But they’ve also had other hits from this album with “Last Train Home” and “Wake Up (Make A Move)”. I think though that “To Hell We Ride” is a great song. Anyway, if you haven’t heard it yet, I definitely recommend it - hence it being this week’s recommended album…duh?!

Ok so I haven’t added a recommended album for sometime now but I’ve been sooo busy. The sixth album to be “recommended” is Blink 182’s self-titled album, released nearly a year ago. I never really listened to the album when it was released but as they’ve been releasing the songs into the charts I finally decided to download the album. Which just happened to be pretty good stuff! Some of the best songs I reckon are “Down”, “I Miss You” and “Feeling This” which they released into the charts but also, “Easy Target” and “Obvious” are pretty amazing too, I reckon they’re all pretty good stuff, a few weird bits, but still cool.

Yeah, well this isn’t aimed at the Americans suprisingly lol, it’s the amazing Green Day’s new song - not offcially out in the UK (or U.S I think) yet but this song is pretty amzing. Was a little sceptical because I wasn’t sure if they still had the new ideas but this is pretty cool. Haven’t seen the video for it yet, but it’s meant to be pretty good too. Can’t wait for the album. Go buy…
Green Day’s greatest hit album - released nearly 3 years ago in November, 2001 so not their latest one (Shenanigans having been released since and their new album, American Idiot due to be released in September, in the U.S). however, they have had lots great hits which funny enough, are on this album - but not all of them i think. some of the best songs on the album i think are “Waiting”, “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)”, “Warning” and “Walking Contradiction”. but i think a song that should have been included is “Deadbeat Holiday” from the “Warning” album. and lots more but they had to stop somewhere lol. anyway, looking forward to the new album - whenever it arrives in the U.K!

this is the next album on my recommended list. a pretty recent one compared to last time but still amazing. Keane were dubbed the new Travis when they first came on to the music scene however, i don’t agree. they are kinda the same, but their songs are much softer and due to the keyboard quite different. but its good to have a British band back in the top 10!…and they’ve been there for quite some time. some of their best songs on the album i think are the most known, “Somewhere Only We Know” and “Everybody’s Changing”. however there are some other amazing ones such as “Can’t Stop Now” and “This Is The Last Time” - but you need to listen to them all. the album is very emotional though, so you gotta be in a good mood to listen to it and not become a little sad after…
